The Shanghai International Children's Book Fair (CCBF) is guided by the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (Shanghai Press and Publication Bureau), hosted by Shanghai Expo Co., Ltd., and supported by Shanghai Xinhua Distribution Group Co., Ltd., China Education Publishing media Group Co., Ltd. and Global Press and Publication Development Co., Ltd. Since its inception in 2013, it has rapidly established its growing importance in the international publishing market and is currently the only professional exhibition in the Asia Pacific region focusing on children's book publishing and children's content for ages 0-16. In the course of eight years of development, CCBF has focused on the theme of "Together with the World and the Future", providing an excellent communication platform for children's book copyright trade, marketing distribution and cross-border cooperation, and playing an important role in improving the quality of children's literature and promoting children's reading. Starting in 2018, CCBF, together with the world's largest BCBF, will bring China's outstanding original content to the world, while bringing the best international works to Chinese readers with industry-leading expertise, rich exhibition experience and vast amounts of high-quality resources to better serve the development strategy of "going out" and "introducing" in China's publishing industry.
