According to the main objectives of the Energy Saving and New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2012-2022), by 2022, the production capacity of pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles will reach 2 million units, with a cumulative production and sales volume of more than 5 million units. New data show that China's new energy vehicle ownership has exceeded 1.3 million vehicles. Driven by the demand for new energy vehicles, it is expected that by 2021 China's power battery market demand will exceed 70GWh. In order to support the development of the new energy battery industry, in response to the "China Zhi-made 2025" national strategy "China (Beijing) International Battery and Technology Exhibition" will be held in Beijing International Exhibition Center. The exhibition is expected to cover an area of 60,000 square meters, more than 700 domestic and foreign exhibitors will be on site to showcase new energy vehicles and lithium batteries throughout the industry chain of new products and technologies, more than 200 tour groups and more than 60,000 visitors will visit the site exchange.
